Electrical inspection and testing

Five yearly EICRs for homes and businesses, plus PAT testing and commercial inspections. Reports issued quickly so you can evidence compliance and get remedial work booked in the same visit.

Plumbing

Full domestic and commercial plumbing, run by the same team and booked through the same number as the electrical work. Most reported faults are plumbing faults, and most of them get worse the longer they sit. A dripping tap becomes a stained basin. A weeping valve becomes a ceiling. We fix them properly the first time and tell you what caused it, so the same problem isn't back on your list next quarter.

What we cover:

• Taps and mixers — replacements, reseating, cartridges and washers, including the mismatched fittings you inherit with an older property
• Toilets and cisterns — running overflows, failed flush mechanisms, wobbly pans, blocked traps and full replacements
• Sinks, basins and waste — slow drains, leaking traps, resealing and swapping out cracked or stained units
• Radiators and heating systems — bleeding, balancing, valve replacement, moving a radiator for a refit, replacing rusted units before they mark the plaster
• Hot water systems — no hot water calls, cylinder work, immersion heaters, thermostats and timers
• Water supplies — stopcocks that won't turn, low pressure, isolating a supply without shutting off the whole building, pipework runs for new appliances
• Towel rails — heated and plain, plumbed or electric, fitted where they'll actually be used
• Shower installation — mixer and electric, with the electrical side handled in the same visit
• Bathroom makeovers — tiling, toilets, sinks and rails as one job, timed to suit you

Leaks and no hot water calls qualify for the four hour Fast Track response. Everything else can be booked online. If a repair stops being economic, we'll say so and price the replacement instead of billing you twice.

Electric showers

Installation, repair and replacement, with plumbers on hand for the waterworks. A dead shower is the fastest way to a complaint, so we carry quality parts and get it running the same day where we can.

Electrical heating

Electric radiators and heaters, including app controlled Rointe units. Free consultation and design service for anyone upgrading storage heaters or fitting out a property with no gas supply.

Joinery and carpentry

Time served joiners for the wear and tear that lets a property down. Scuffed skirting, a door that won't shut, a kitchen with three broken hinges. None of it is an emergency and all of it adds up. We work through a list in one visit rather than coming back four times.

What we cover:

• Doors — sticking and dropped doors rehung, locks and handles, fire door checks and replacements for HMOs and communal areas, internal and external
• Kitchens — full fits, part replacements, doors and drawer fronts, worktops, hinges and soft close runners, plus making good after an appliance swap
• Skirting boards and architraves — matched to the existing profile, replaced after a leak or a bad removal, scribed properly on uneven walls
• Stud walls — building, altering or taking down, including forming a second bedroom or closing off an awkward space in a conversion
• Shelving and storage — alcove shelving, cupboards, airing cupboard slats and built-in storage that lasts
• Window sills — internal and external, replaced where damp or condensation has taken hold, sealed and finished ready to paint
• General joinery — loft hatches, bannisters and spindles, floorboards, boxing in pipework, decking and gates, plus the odd jobs that never justify a separate trade
